CREATIVE BRIEF
Expand a product (narrative) into a physical space to create immersive and participatory experiences.
RESULTI expanded on the A24 film, Past Lives and its concept with in-yun (fate), a theme portrayed in the film through the relationship between the characters, Nora and Haesung. The movie explores the possibilities of coming together in the present, past, and future. Using the theme of in-yun, I translated the nostaglic memories of Nora and Haesung from the movie into scents, allowing others to relive their moments.
WHAT IS INYUN?
"인" (in) stands for a person, while "연" (yeon) means connection or fate. Together, "인연" (inyun) represents the idea of a meaningful human connection or relationship.
But, what if moments of inyun can be seen not as just from relationships between people but also memories and places? And what if those memories, places, and people are translated into a scent?
With candles, it can bring a piece of your past into your present, allowing you to relive those cherished moments in a personal way.
MISSION
